Kohala Coast Dive Club

 

The Kohala Coast Dive club is free to join and welcomes all ocean lovers. We welcome beginner to advanced divers and are sponsored by Kohala Divers in Kawaihae. Our mission is to provide a community that connects divers to each other and encourages eco friendly ocean activities, friendship and fun.

 

Our Goals

 

• Promote quality diving for the local scuba diving community.

• Create a "family' dive club for novice to extreme divers as well as non-divers or family members.

• A club that encourages first time divers to attend and participate in diving

• Promote dive safety, education and special interest (photo, deep, cave, night, etc.)

• Promote Eco-Friendly events – beach and dive site clean-ups, etc.

• Offer a forum to share personal dive experiences, skills and knowledge.

• Create camaraderie among "like-minded" divers,  family and friends (BBQ, potlucks, dive trips, fun!)

• With the support of Kohala Divers, offer equipment, air, training and dive trip discounts.

• To use a dive club website through meetup.com, email and Facebook to communicate with and between members.
